Returns Policy

If within ten days of receiving any of our products you are dissatisfied, you may return it and we will refund the total purchase price excluding postage and packaging costs. For paintings and larger items this will be £50. For smaller items including jewelry it will be £10.

Please note, return postage costs are the responsibility of the buyer. All items must be returned in suitable packaging with adequate postal insurance as the buyer will be liable for damaged items.

Terms and Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions must be agreed between Pepper Alley ("the Seller"), and the Buyer ("the Buyer") before our products may be sold.

These terms and conditions will use the term "Products" for all artworks and products sold by Pepper Alley, the images of which being found on www.pepperalley.co.uk, and "The Website" for the website address http://www.pepperalley.co.uk

Before purchasing Products

  • A Product will be deemed sold once the Buyer has agreed to purchase it and has submitted payment in full.
  • The Buyer must check that the descriptions of the Product found on The Website meet with their requirements before purchasing ie: dimensions, colours, media, ground, condition, frames, materials.

Purchasing Products

  • All Products may currently be purchased with a debit/credit card through PayPal, by cheque, bank transfer or cash.
  • The Seller agrees not to charge any fees (e.g. processing fees) other than the purchase price pertaining to the transaction and any associated postage costs, unless clearly stated.
  • Payment by Cheque - The Buyer agrees to notify the Seller by email that they intend to pay by cheque. All cheques are to be made out to "Gillian Rolland". Cheques will only be accepted in Sterling. Cheques received by the Seller will take up to seven days to clear with the bank before the Product(s) can be released.
  • Payment with Cash - The Seller accepts no responsibility for cash sent by mail. No cash in currencies other than Sterling will be accepted.
  • By electronic bank transfer - The Buyer agrees to inform the Seller by email that they wish to pay by bank transfer. The Seller agrees then to send the relevant details to the Buyer by email. If purchasing by electronic bank transfer in any other currency than GB Pounds the current exchange rate fee will be incurred. No transfer in currencies other than GB Pounds which do not include a current exchange rate fee will be accepted by the Seller.
  • By PayPal - The PayPal account can be accessed by the buyer via The Website.
  • Shipping and Insurance - Shipping and insurance of all products will be included in the purchase price for all sales within the United Kingdom. Shipping and insurance of all artworks is excluded in the purchase price for all sales outside the United Kingdom, the cost of each individual packaged products will be mutually agreed prior to any movement of the artworks.

Delivery, and delivery timing, of Originals

Pepper Alley agrees that deliveries shall be handled as follows:

  • Shipping shall be done using shipping methods that provide for tracking and require a signature.
  • From the time the Seller's Bank has cleared monies paid for purchasing products in full, to the time the Buyer has received and signed for the packaged product, up to seven working days will be considered as acceptable within the UK.
  • Any products to be shipped outside the UK will first be mutually agreed by the Seller and the Buyer specific to the individual country. Agreed times will be in accordance with usual shipping industry standard transit times.

Returning Originals

The Buyer agrees that returns shall be handled as follows:

  • The Buyer may return a product for any reason whatsoever within the period of, and including, ten days from the day the Artwork is delivered to an address specified by the Buyer, and signed for by whomsoever receives the packaged product.
  • Any product to be returned must be packaged using the same packaging material the product was delivered in, unless the packaging was received by the Buyer, or representative of the Buyer, in a damaged and unusable condition. In which case the buyer will repack the product using packaging similar to the original packaging.
  • The Buyer and the Seller will agree as to which method of delivery service will be used to return the original product. Once an agreement has been made then the Seller and the Buyer will take immediate action necessary to carry out the return delivery.
  • Once the product has been received by the Seller, the Seller will inspect the packaging and the product.
  • The Seller will not refund any money for product returned to the Seller damaged because of inadequate packaging.
  • The Seller agrees to refund in full any money for products returned to the Seller in the same condition as it was originally sent, the product being without any scratches, marks etc.
  • The Buyer may return a product if it has been damaged during transportation from the Seller directly to the Buyer, or to an address agreed by the Buyer and the Seller, in which case the Buyer will inform the Seller immediately on receipt of any damaged product, and will make immediate arrangements for the artwork to be returned to the Seller. The Buyer will ensure that the product is packed and shipped to the Sellers requirements.
